I’ll admit, the recipes we post here are good (to us at the least) or else we wouldn’t post them. HOWEVER, there are only a few that repeatedly show up on our kitchen table. Some aren’t practical to make routinely. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ONE OF THOSE RECIPES!

Protein packed, low fat, gluten free blender waffles that are so quick and easy to make!

These waffles are made out of a few, whole ingredients, and they are all so good for you. Old fashioned oats, cottage cheese, eggs, a little honey, vanilla, and baking powder. That is it! Add them all together, blend them, cook them, and eat!

These waffles turn out crisp while fluffy, and overall just awesome. I don’t know if I’ll turn back to normal waffles again. This will be the standard in our household! Kids can’t get enough of them, Mom and Dad can’t get enough of them, and they are good for you! Each one is about 100 calories with 13 grams of protein and just a few grams of fat. Sugar is only found within the honey. Just trust me and make these already!

Blender Protein Waffles

Blender Protein Waffles (Gluten Free)

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 7 minutes

Blender waffles packed with protein, low in fat, and made up of all a few whole ingredients (Gluten Free)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

    1. Add all ingredients into blender
    2. Blend until uniform batter (decently thick)
    3. Scoop 1/4 cup waffle batter onto each 1/4 of greased and heated waffle iron
    4. If your waffle iron beeps or signals when ready, I let my waffles cook for two rounds
    5. Serve and top!
